Picnic by Lake Annecy — food to take away
The shop is a few minutes’ walk from the lake. Put your meal together from the current menu, collect it on your way, and settle down by the water.
What to pick from the menu
There is no ready-made "picnic box": you choose freely from the menu. To eat outdoors, with no cutlery and nothing to reheat, go for the dishes served cold — starters, salads, terrines, individual desserts.
Dish pages list reheating advice where there is any: a dish with none is meant to be eaten as it comes.

How it travels
Everything leaves in eco-friendly, recyclable containers that close properly and travel in a bag without spilling.
Remember something to drink: the drinks on the menu can be ordered along with the food.
When to order, when to collect
Collection in store: order before 7pm for the same day (collect until 8pm), otherwise the next day.
We are open seven days a week. Monday to Saturday: 10am–3pm and 5.30pm–8pm. Sunday: 11am–3pm and 5.30pm–8pm. Closed from 3pm to 5.30pm — worth knowing if you are aiming for a late-afternoon picnic.
Where to settle, walking from the shop
The shop is at Passage des Sorbiers, 13 rue Royale, inside the covered Sorbiers passage. The three spots below are a few minutes away on foot.
Jardins de l’Europe
The closest to the shop. Lawns shaded by mature trees, facing the lake, with benches along the water and the Pont des Amours at the end of the path.
Le Pâquier
The wide grass esplanade running along the lake. Room to spread out, an open view of the mountains, and space enough for a group.
The banks of the Thiou
Step out of the passage and the canal runs through the old town down to the lake. Steps and low walls to sit on, away from the esplanade when it is packed.
Put your meal together
